Emily Jones offers a combined osteopathy and lactation consultation to provide personalised and professional care you for and your baby.
An assessment involves both mum and baby, and may include a thorough examination of oral function for the infant. We provide advice on positioning and attachment and education about how to manage common feeding issues.

Emily Jones (Osteopath & IBCLC) is qualified as International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to provide clinical management of breastfeeding. An IBCLC can reassure you when breastfeeding and lactation are going well, and provide information and support to help prevent and manage common concerns. IBCLC lactation consultants are knowledgeable about up-to-date evidence-based practices, experienced in complex breastfeeding issues, sensitive to the needs of both mothers and children, and are ethical in their practice.
Infant Feeding Issues
Our osteopaths Emily and Kirsty offer a range of services to assist families with breast and bottle feeding issues
This may include an assessment of the baby to review progress in meeting musculoskeletal and developmental milestones expected by age or stage, manual therapy techniques, and education about movement and activities for you and your baby to help promote promote postural stability and physical skills to support infant feeding.
We also offer support for mum and baby before and after tongue and lip tie release. This may include hands-on osteopathic care and exercise prescription.
We Work With Other Professionals
To ensure you and your child get the care you deserve, we work in association with other health professionals. These include general practitioners, paediatricians, maternal and child health nurses, lactation consultants, paediatric dentists and speech pathologists. This may include referral to other health professionals in helping supporting mother and baby.
