Dr Emily Jones (Osteopath) & IBCLC
Emily takes a patient-centred and personalised approach to health care. Emily particularly enjoys supporting babies and children through stages of growth and development, and has a significant focus on assisting families with infant feeding issues.
Emily completed a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal and Infant Paediatric Manual Therapy in 2012, and received the Advanced Paediatric Osteopath title from Osteopathy Australia in 2019. She also qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2018.
Drawing on knowledge and experience as an Osteopath, Lactation Consultant, and her personal experience through breastfeeding difficulties faced with both her daughters, Emily understands how challenging this can be for some families.
Additional to private practice, Emily has extensive teaching experience across various osteopathic teaching roles and previously volunteered as a member of the Osteopathy Australia Paediatric Clinical Practice Group leadership committee.
Emily is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and is a member of Osteopathy Australia, Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
Appointments with Emily are available on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Osteopathy Australia recognises members with clinical skills beyond general osteopathy. Advanced practitioners have a deep clinical knowledge and applied clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and clinical intervention in a focus area. The skills of titled practitioners are consistent with other health professionals that have depth of focus in an area of practice. Read more about advanced practice below.
