Emily completed a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal and Infant Paediatric Manual Therapy in 2012, and received the Advanced Paediatric Osteopath (Tertiary) title from Osteopathy Australia in 2019.

She also qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2018.

Emily takes a patient-centred and personalised approach to health care. Emily particularly enjoys supporting babies and children through stages of growth and development, and has a significant focus on assisting families with infant feeding issues.

Additional to private practice, Emily has extensive teaching experience across various osteopathic teaching roles and previously volunteered as a member of the Osteopathy Australia Paediatric Clinical Practice Group leadership committee.

Also, she is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is a member of Osteopathy Australia and Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand.

Recognition demonstrates that Dr Emily Jones (Osteopath) has an advanced scope of practice in paediatrics and has met the professional standards required to make an enhanced contribution in managing paediatric patients of all ages.

Osteopathy Australia recognises members with clinical skills beyond general osteopathy. Advanced practitioners have a deep clinical knowledge and applied clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and clinical intervention in a focus area.
